THE DIAMANTINA. HISTORICAL WEAVING WORKSHOP – 4 HOURS
The weaving workshop on this ancient textile will include theoretical and practical lessons at the atelier, experiencing this precious weave on the hand loom.
The diamantina is a small diamond shape which is used to create both home and clothing textiles, such as the renaissance dress, exhibited at the National Museum of Palazzo Reale in Pisa.
It is possible to arrange visits to the Palazzo Reale (about a couple of hours, not included in the price).
At the end of the course, the participants will receive a certificate and the piece they have created.
