I was born in Milan, and for more than 25 years I have been living and working in Pisa. In 1987 I fell in love with fabrics and weaving. Since then I’ve been studying woven textiles and working on hand weaving looms.
Periodically,I hold technical textile drawing courses, weaving and tstudy of textile commodities in public and private schools, from kindergarten to university.
I teach study of textile commodities at the Modartech Instituteof Pontedera.
I have taught weaving and fabric design in the course of Culture and Fashion Design, Inter-Faculty of Arts and Architecture in Florence.
I have collaborated together with the course of Industrial Design of the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and the Academy of Arts in Florence, within the project of Innovation and Nautica Mobile Scenarios, coordinated by Artex– Centre for Artistic Traditional Handicrafts of Tuscany.
I have taught at the Cerratelli Foundationof San Giuliano Terme, Pisa.
Since 2007, I’ve been participating in “The Artisan at School” project, sponsored by the city of Pisa and Casartigiani.
